Donate in Memory
Donating in memory is such a special way to remember the life of a loved one by supporting a cause so close to their heart.
Donating in Memory
Giving a gift in memory of a loved one supports us to achieve our vision of a wilder Herefordshire with more nature everywhere - on farms, in rural areas, within our iconic rivers and in our towns too. Donating in memory can be used to mark an anniversary or birthday of a loved one and celebrate their life. However large or small, your donation in memory will make a real difference to Herefordhshire's wildlife and wild places.
Funeral and Memory Collections In Lieu of Flowers
Though we have traditionally dedicated a bouquet of flowers to remember a loved one, cut flowers last all too briefly. A donation in lieu of flowers will help to protect Herefordshire's wildflowers for generations to come. Woodlands carpeted with bluebells, hedgerows dotted with primrose and meadows a riot of orchids - a donation towards the care of Herefordshire Wildlife Trust supports us to protect our precious wildflowers as a lasting memorial for generations to come.
If you choose to ask people for donations In Lieu of Flowers at a funeral or memorial, you can ask your Funeral Director to arrange this on your behalf. The Funeral Director will then arrange for the donation to be sent directly to us. Please feel free to put them in contact with Josie, who leads on Legacies at Herefordshire Wildlife Trust at j.croft@herefordshirewt.co.uk
If you choose to collect the donations yourself, you could send them directly to us. These can be sent via cheque made payable to Herefordshire Wildlife Trust or online via our donation page. When sending donations, please include your contact information and details of who the collection was made in memory of.
