Herefordshire Wildlife Trust currently manage the arboretum, wider woodland, visitor centre and all other facilities on the site, in partnership with New Leaf Sustainable Development. The Trust plans to introduce sustainable practices in the café as we have done elsewhere across the site including sourcing over 70% of all food and drink from local suppliers, using plant-based packaging and reducing waste.  All profits made by the café will fund our work at Queenswood managing the arboretum, conserving the native woodlands for wildlife and improving visitor facilities and accessibility across the site.

We plan to retain a family-friendly menu, eat-in and takeaway facilities as well as offering a wide range of plant-based options. The Café will also offer a great range of gluten free and sugar free options to promote healthy eating. We also look forward to being able to offer a wide range of ‘eat and park’ offers.

We will be making Café improvements this spring. While these improvements are being made we will continue to operate a reduced café offer on-site.

We look forward to welcoming visitors back to the café with a full menu from early summer.
