Commitment:

Any Day

Herefordshire Wildlife Trust works across the county to restore wildlife and wildlife habitats working with communities and partners. We manage 60 nature reserves, collaborate on landscape-scale projects and inspire people to take action for nature at home and with their communities. Our goals are to see 30% of land and inland water restored for nature by 2030 and for one on four people taking action for nature.

To achieve this, we need to continually fundraise to ensure we can sustain and grow our work. With costs increasing every year, there is ever more pressure on our finances and we are always looking for new and innovative fundraising opportunities.

Alongside our traditional fundraising schemes, the Board of Trustees are keen for us to also support our members to raise funds from community fundraising activities - anything from open gardens to sponsored walks or runs and concerts to quiz nights.

Our first step is setting up a new community fundraising committee and we are looking for volunteers to form this group. We aim for the committee to be a small but active group developing fun and different ideas to make as much money as possible for wildlife in Herefordshire.

We are specifically looking for people with experience of fundraising and/ or managing events to join us. If you would like to find out more about this opportunity, we would be very pleased to hear from you.

Alternatively, if you would like to volunteer to support our events on a more ad hoc basis, we would also love to hear from you!
