Volunteer Trainee Opportunities
Are you looking to begin a career in conservation? If so this is the place for you. Every year we offer four part-time positions for volunteer trainees looking to gain the skills and experience needed to break into the world of conservation.
Throughout the 12-month programme we provide training in various aspects of applied conservation, providing a mix of practical reserves work and survey and monitoring experience. Alongside this, we fund trainees to achieve qualifications in emergency first aid and chainsaw competence so they leave equipped for a variety of roles.
If you’re a recent graduate or thinking about a career change these opportunities provide a great chance get a leg-up in the sector, working in some of Herefordshire’s most unique and spectacular habitats.
