Wilder Hereford

We're supporting a number of projects, initiatives and groups working to create a wilder Hereford city.

Our goals are to:

• Improve the habitats along the streams and brooks running through the city
• Restore and manage floodplain meadows in and around the city 
• Connect people to nature on their doorstep through improving access and providing activities and volunteering opportunities
• Increasing the number of spaces for nature in the city - including creating a new wetland nature reserve on the site of the old Essex Arms on the Link Road
