About the event

Experience nature like never before with the Rewilding Walk & Herbalism event, led by Beyond Domestication's co-founders, George and Amber-Rose. This immersive journey combines a guided rewilding walk with hands-on herbalism, offering a unique opportunity to reconnect with the natural world.

The adventure begins with the full rewilding walk, where participants explore local flora and fauna, learning about the ecosystem and sustainable foraging techniques. George and Amber-Rose, seasoned experts in rewilding wellbeing, will guide you through the identification and collection of various medicinal plants.

Following the walk, delve into the world of herbalism. Discover the medicinal properties of the plants you’ve foraged and gain insight into their traditional and contemporary uses. George and Amber-Rose will share their extensive knowledge, demonstrating how to process these plants into beneficial herbal remedies.

The event culminates in a balm-making session, where you will create your own natural skincare products using the organic ingredients you’ve gathered. This hands-on experience not only teaches practical skills but also emphasizes the importance of sustainable living and self-care.

Join us for a transformative day of learning, creativity, and connection with nature. Rewild your wellbeing and take home your handmade skincare balms as a reminder of this enriching experience.

This workshop includes free parking. Please register your vehicle with the Visitor Centre on the day.
