About the event
Join Nic Howes on a 5.5 mile Good Friday Walk to view the southwest landscape of Hereford’s ‘Swedgelands’ and assess the impact of the southern part of a western bypass. There will also be opportunities to see three inspirational projects "south of the river": Southside Project, Hereford Community Farm and Belmont Haywood Country Park.
Meet: front entrance of Belmont Tesco.*
Requirements: fitness to complete a 5.5-mile walk, mainly on footpaths and bridleways with the likelihood of mud and uneven ground; footwear and clothing appropriate to the weather conditions on the day; bring your own mid-morning drink and snacks.

*Maximum stay in Belmont Tesco car park is 3 hours, and NPR operates on entrance and exit. The walk may take longer than three hours, so those planning to drive to the start point will need to find somewhere to park for longer. Belmont Tesco is readily accessible by bus or by quiet cycle routes. The walk start time has been amended to 09:15.
