About the event

Embrace the festive season by joining our Christmas wreath-making workshop led by Phi Evans, an expert in working with natural fibres and plants. In this creative and hands-on session, you will craft your very own unique wreath using a variety of locally sourced materials.

Phi brings over two decades of experience with her primary practice involving weaving with natural fibres like rush and willow.  This workshop will focus on the art of wreath-making, combining natural elements in a mindful and creative way and learning how to arrange and style these materials into a stunning holiday wreath.

You’ll begin the session by exploring the materials provided, focusing on their colours, textures, and how they can be arranged into a festive, balanced design. Phi will guide you step by step, offering tips on how to layer greenery, attach decorative elements, and create a wreath that feels both personal and inspired by nature.

Whether you are new to wreath-making or have created your own before, this workshop is designed for all skill levels. By the end of the session, you will leave with a beautifully crafted Christmas wreath. All materials are included, and no prior experience is necessary.  If you wish to bring your own materials and add a personal touch, this is also encouraged.
