About the event

Yolande Watson, founder of Dark Skies Herefordshire and Executive member of Herefordshire CPRE, will be delivering an enlightening talk to Hereford City branch of Herefordshire Wildlife Trust about why natural darkness is so important to all living things - including humans.

Yolande will cover the evolution of light, why we need natural darkness, the impact of artificial light on biodiversity and the need for responsible outdoor lighting at night.  There will be an opportunity to discuss light pollution issues and ask questions.
