Join us at the Lake for the day! As well as the timed activities below there will be information about our projects at the lake and other stalls.

We would love everyone to contribute to the 'Bring and Share' picnic and tea and coffee will also be available. (We will also have a portaloo on site for the day!)

All activities on the day are FREE but please book your spaces below as knowing numbers in advance will help us make the day run smoothly!

Guided Walks & Children's Activities

At 10:30 am Sophie Cowling will lead a walk around the Lake to explore the wildlife of the reserve and find out more about the Lugg Wetland Gem Project. The walk will include visiting the wildlife refuge area and osprey platform and checking on the reptile tin shelters.

At 1.15 pm Orchard Origins’ Julia Morton will take visitors around the orchards on the reserve and answer all your questions on orchard management.

Please note: Dogs must be on leads at all times and no dogs will be allowed on the guided walks as the route will go into the restricted area of the lake.
