A great opportunity to enjoy a hilarious and informative take on creating space for nature.

Richard Fishbourne of Bugs and Beasties gives one of his fascinating talks about how best to let your garden thrive and enjoy the detail and changes that nature offers. Richards varied past has seen him recreate a miniature ancient apple orchard at the RHS Spring festival for the attention of HRH Princess Anne, interview gardening enthusiasts including the late Sir John Hurt and fellow actor Sir Michael Cain at the Chelsea flower show for podcast material, interview the curator of Kirstenbosch botanical gardens on site in Capetown and gives talks to clubs, organisations and shows all over the UK .

Richard’s organisation Bugs and Beasties has created thousands of features in dozens of schools across the UK, from clay walled hazel teepees and outdoor classrooms to ponds and natural cleft chestnut fencing all designed to bring a school grounds to life and enhance the pupils learning experience. Richards empathy with natural history is demonstrated through his talks and this is a chance to learn how everything in your garden, from life in the earth up, contributes to making a beautiful nourishing space. Learn about everything from worms to weasels and share in some crazy anecdotes.
